Here's a thought. Why does the U.S. government not have a perpetually open email HOT LINE to collect 'ideas' for solutions to current societal or economic problems? An examining group of knowledgeable individuals would not be overly costly.
Somewhat like a huge national think-tank.
Example: How might a catastrophic undersea oil leakage be quickly and easily contained?
I know of no convenient way (either directly or via email) to inform the regime in power of how to solve a specific problem.
As an incentive, the first contributor of a workable solution to a major problem could be awarded a moderate tax-free cash payment.
It could work . . .
Could it not?
