MEMORY

The ability of brain function to remember objects and events and to manipulate those memories in such a manner as to imagine objects and events that have not yet happened actually happening in a future time is what distinguishes human beings from other earthly biological creatures.

Intelligence cannot exist without memory.

I have neither the persuasive skills nor even the inclination to convince anyone of that simple truth but it is true nevertheless.
