Purpose Of The Universe

Neil deGrasse Tyson, who is an astrophysicist and the Director of New York City’s Hayden Planetarium, was asked, "Does the universe have a purpose?"

His answer is here on a Youtube video of less than three minutes duration.

I first encountered the question on Taslima's blog, No Country For Women --

And I even left a comment at the bottom of the entry giving my seemingly flippant but absolutely serious answer to the question.

Charles Edward Ringling  was one of the Ringling brothers, who owned the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus. He was in charge of production and greatly admired by the employees, who called him "Mr. Charlie" and sought his advice and help even for personal problems.
