Gene Roddenberry

Eugene Wesley "Gene" Roddenberry was an American television screenwriter, producer, populistic philosopher, and futurist. He is best remembered for creating the original Star Trek television series and thus the Star Trek science-fiction franchise.
In 1985, Gene Roddenberry was the first television writer to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
